"Johan Franzen pretty much echoed what everyone around was thinking after Monday's loss in Phoenix.

The game capped a long road stretch since early December.

"I miss my family," Franzen said. "It's going to be nice to spend time at home."

The Red Wings have plenty of home time beginning tonight against the Oilers. They are home for 18 of their final 28 games.

And, they return to Joe Louis Arena having won 17 consecutive.
