For five-plus years, Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers had no hesitation when questions were fired his way about Ray Allen.

But among the many changes resulting from Allen's decision to leave Boston -- at least right now -- is Rivers' reluctance to talk about his former player.

Rivers, who lives in Orlando during the offseason, was in attendance at Boston's 93-79 summer league loss to Detroit and was asked about Allen again.

"I'm not talking about Ray right now," Rivers said. "He's no longer part of us. That's my take, really. We talked about a lot of stuff, but really, I'm talking about our guys."
