"Losing has been the only down side to center fielder Alex Rios' rebound year.
So even if the White Sox start to dismantle their team, Rios would like to stay with the Sox through 2014.
Rios has a full no-trade clause in his contract for this season that will be shortened to a limited no-trade clause in 2011. But given his production and age (29), the Sox aren't about to trade him.
"There's a limited no-trade clause, but that's one of the things I was looking for," Rios said Tuesday.
"Not winning has been the roughest part. We have a pretty good team, but it hasn't worked out the way we wanted it to. But it's part of the game. Things happen and sometimes you don't know why they're happening.""
