"Injuries continue to jumble the Vikings' receiving corps, with one playmaker moving closer to his 2010 debut and another sidelined by a familiar affliction.
Percy Harvin did not practice Wednesday and stayed home after suffering another migraine, coach Brad Childress said.
Harvin, who also returns kicks, has been battling migraines since the Vikings drafted him in 2009. Wednesday was the second practice he has missed because of a migraine since the season started.
Harvin, whose left ankle is also injured, collapsed on the practice field at Winter Park on Aug. 19 and was hospitalized overnight because of a bad reaction to medication he was taking to treat migraines.
Meanwhile, wide receiver Sidney Rice, out all season so far while recovering from Aug. 24 hip surgery, appears close to returning. He is cleared for another full week of practice, although Childress said his status for Sunday's game at Chicago would be evaluated each day.
"It's always a matter of how he comes back tomorrow, how he comes back the next day," Childress said. "I don't think it's realistic that he could come in and go for 60 or 70 plays.
"He's been cleared for all activities right now, so the minute he feels like he can play, he can play." "
