Soccer's World Cup is soon to get started, and in addition to English and American sportswriters sniping at one another about fan decorum, Portugal's national soccer team is working out at Jets HQ in Florham Park.

Before heading down to Brazil for the World Cup, which begins next weekend, Portugal beat Mexico, 1-0, in a friendly on Friday in Foxboro, Mass., and is scheduled to face Ireland on Tuesday at MetLife Stadium. Portgual has been using the facilities at One Jets Drive since Tuesday to prepare for both matches. Their final day there will be Monday.

Jets head coach Rex Ryan said his team hasn't really interacted with Portugal.

"I think we have two guys that maybe know, 'Hey, that's a soccer ball,'" Ryan said. "Maybe [kicker Nick] Folk and [offensive lineman] Breno [Giacomini]. I think Breno has a background in soccer, obviously as a goalie."
