"Two-time Pro Bowl quarterback Vince Young, cast off by the Tennessee Titans, has agreed to a one-year deal with the Eagles, according to NFL Network.
Earlier Thursday, CBSSports.com reported that Young was "a virtual certainty" to sign with the Eagles as Michael Vick's backup. The Titans released Young on Thursday, but teams cannot contact him until he clears waivers.
The Eagles traded Kevin Kolb to the Cards earlier Thursday, opening up a spot for an experienced backup quarterback.
Young, 28, had a 30-17 record in 47 starts with the Titans. He made the Pro Bowl as a rookie in 2006, when he went 8-5, and again in 2009, when he was 8-2."
