It appears as though some political pressure from President Trump has helped the three UCLA Bruins basketball players who were detained in China on shoplifting charges do more than simply be able to come home.

According to a report from Ben Bolch of the L.A. Times, not only were LiAngelo Ball, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill allowed to board a plane back to California but they were able to do so without any charges hanging over their heads.
