Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher, hired one week ago from Florida State, is steadily filling out his new staff with the Aggies.

The latest addition appears to be offensive coordinator Darrell Dickey, who’s spent the last six seasons at Memphis in a similar role. Fisher was heavily involved in the offensive play-calling at FSU and figures to be at A&M as well, meaning Dickey’s role won’t be as prominent as many other offensive coordinators across the country.

Football Scoop is reporting Dickey’s pending addition to Fisher’s staff. Memphis is ranked fourth nationally in total offense with 548 yards per game.

Dickey is a former head coach at North Texas and offensive coordinator at Texas State and New Mexico, along with plenty of stops along the way as an assistant. He started his coaching career as a graduate assistant at A&M under Jackie Sherrill.
