USC Trojans offensive coordinator Tee Martin has signed a multi-year extension to remain with the program, according to Bruce Feldman of FOX Sports. Martin had previously interviewed for the Oakland Raiders head coaching vacancy this offseason, choosing to return to the collegiate ranks to continue in his role of leading the Trojans’ offense.

Martin has been at USC since 2012, but has served as the offensive coordinator only since 2016. He first arrived as the wide receivers coach, before developing into the passing game coordinator and eventually taking on OC duties.

At age 39, Martin’s position with the Trojans is his first coordinator experience at the collegiate level. He became the quarterbacks coach at New Mexico in 2009, before moving on to Kentucky where he was the wide receivers coach and eventually the passing game coordinator.
