It's been a long time coming but it looks as though Rolando McClain's tenure with the Raiders will finally be over.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports that "all indications are" that Oakland will cut McClain on March 12, the start of the new fiscal year for the NFL. McClain's $7.26 million salary coming off the books will create some much needed cap space for the Raiders.

The former first-round pick was suspended for two games toward the end of the 2012 season for conduct detrimental to the team, and did not participate in the final three contests of the season.
