The Wolves prepared for Tuesday's game at Brooklyn by practicing in Manhattan for 2 1/2 hours today and afterward, coach Tom Thibodeau said injured point guard Ricky Rubio is "making steady progress" healing from his sprained elbow and will be looked at again when the team returns home from these consecutive games against the Nets Tuesday and at Orlando Wednesday.

"As soon as he gets through some practices, we'll have an idea how long," Thibodeau said.

Rubio has missed the last three games since he sprained that elbow late in an Oct. 29 game at Sacramento.

Rubio isn't on this three-game trip and Thibodeau called the time at home for him to heal "a good break for him."

The Wolves went back to work Monday, focusing on offensive ball movement and getting their defense set better a day after players and coaches attended the hit Broadway show "Hamilton" together.
