"Mavericks forward Shawn Marion has turned down an offer to appear on the hit TV show "Dancing with the Stars," according to a report from TMZ.

Marion rejected the offer in case progress is made in NBA labor negotiations and a full season ends up happening. According to the report, if a full NBA season occurred, there would be scheduling issues with "Dancing with the Stars," which doesn't end until November -- which is later in the fall than when the NBA season typically begins."
