The Los Angeles Lakers worked out former UCLA star point guard Lonzo Ball on June 7 and he may work out with his possible future employer again before this year’s NBA draft, to be held June 22.

The Lakers are interested in having Ball in for a second workout, according to Shahan Ahmed of NBC Los Angeles, though a time and date have not yet been set.

The Lakers hold the second overall pick in this year’s draft and the Chino Hills, Calif., native has expressed his desire to be selected by the Lakers.

“I want to stay home,” Ball said to the Los Angeles Times after working out at the Lakers’ practice facility.
