For the second time in less than a year the NFL is playing second fiddle to Major League Baseball and this time it's in Oakland where the Athletics and Raiders share the same stadium.

The A's and Raiders will have a slight conflict during the first weekend of October. The A's are set to host an American League Divisional Series (ALDS) playoff game on Oct. 5 and the start time of that game will affect the start time of the Raiders-Chargers game on Oct. 6.

The reason a game on Oct. 5 affects the start time of a game on Oct. 6 is because it takes just under 24 hours to change the configuration at O.Co Coliseum from a baseball field to a football field.

Depending on when the A's game starts the Raiders game will kickoff at either 4 p.m. ET or 11:30 p.m. ET according to the Oakland Tribune. And you read that right: 11:30 p.m. ET. On the West Coast that means the game will kickoff at either 1 p.m. PT or 8:30 p.m. PT. The game was originally set to start at 4:25 p.m. ET/1:25 p.m. PT.
