"The Sixers appear to have lost their first player from last year's team to free agency.
According to ProBasketballTalk via Yahoo! Sports, Jason Kapono has agreed to a one-year contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. The deal, which is reportedly for the veteran's minimum, can not be officially signed until 2 p.m. on Friday.
Kapono was expected to stretch the floor when he was acquired from Toronto for Reggie Evans, but the sharpshooter saw limited action with the Sixers. He appeared in 57 games during the 2009-10 season, averaging 5.7 points a night, but he saw those numbers drop to 24 and 0.7 last year."
