As the top free agent pitcher available, C.J. Wilson figures to spend time talking to many teams this winter. But ESPN.com's Jerry Cransick reports that Wilson will kick off his tour of possible landing spots on Monday with the Rangers' chief rival, the Los Angeles Angels.

Signing Wilson, a native of Newport Beach, Calif., would give the Angels four high-priced pitchers -- in addition to Jered Weaver , Dan Haren and Ervin Santana -- but Wilson could also provide the Angels with the flexibility to deal either Haren or Santana to bolster a lineup that finished 10th in the AL in runs scored last year.
