Tuukka Rask probably couldn't believe his good fortune in his previous two starts for the Bruins, as his mates twice backed him with six goals en route to easy victories.

Last night Rask found himself in what was, for him, unfortunately, a more customary sort of hockey game.

Luckily, the Bruins' No. 1B goaltender has had plenty of practice in such games, and had the right stuff to the final moment — when he stopped a shootout forehander by Columbus' Antoine Vermette, giving the B's a 2-1 victory and a seven-game winning streak.
