"Andy Reid discussed several topics on Tuesday. He discussed the pursuit of Steve Spagnuolo, the hiring of Todd Bowles and the status of Juan Castillo. He also said he was proud of DeSean Jackson.
Reid, of course, also addressed injuries. First and foremost, defensive tackle Mike Patterson is recovering after undergoing surgery Friday to treat a brain AVM. The condition was discovered after Patterson had a seizure in training camp and rushed to the hospital. Reid said he talked to Patterson on Monday.
"They had him sedated pretty well. He's doing well," Reid said. "It was a very long surgery. They had to dig in there. By training camp I think he'll be pretty good.""
