"Eagles coach Andy Reid said at his day-after news conference that he hasn't decided how much his starters would play against Dallas but did mention that quarterback Michael Vick's injury could keep him on the sideline. Certainly, the fact that Vick is limping heavily would seem to indicate he might not play in a meaningless game, the Eagles locked into the third seed.
"I'm not even sure he could get back from what he has now, the quad [contusion]," Reid said. "It was painful yesterday and it as painful today. If he had to play today, he couldn't. It's tight, it's sore. He'll be all right down the road.
"As far as how we play the guys, I haven't finalized that, what I'm going to do there. I'm looking at it now. I wanted to make sure we took care of this game and got it past us. You got to look at what's at stake if you play them, injury-wise. Some guys need the play-time, some guys need the rest-time. I got to look at that. You still want to win the game. I still haven't gotten that far. I will, right after this meeting."
Reid also said that DeSean Jackson's foot was "bothering him a little bit. He'll have some work on that today."
