"Wide receiver Reggie Wayne is skipping the Indianapolis Colts' three-day minicamp because of a contract dispute with the team.

Wayne apparently is seeking to upgrade a contract that has two seasons remaining with salaries of $5.47 million next season and $5.95 million for the 2011 season, according to the Indianapolis Star.

"I will continue training diligently in Florida, as I have each off-season since my rookie year, to ensure that I am ready to play this season," Wayne said in an e-mail, according to the Star."
