"This is the second act of Reggie Bush's NFL career.
In Act One Bush was an underachieving first-round pick, a tailback who was selected too high by the New Orleans Saints, and a former Heisman Trophy winner who fell short of becoming one of the NFL's elite playmakers.
In Act Two, which begins as the starting tailback for the Miami Dolphins, Bush admits he's working to silence his doubters, who think he's too Hollywood, and quiet those who don't believe he can be used as a featured tailback in the NFL.
Bush has been one of the Dolphins' hardest workers during training camp. He's taken some of the young tailbacks under his wing, and that includes rookie Daniel Thomas.
He's pushing to establish himself as a team leader, and it's apparently working.
"I may have some accolades. I may look like this Hollywood guy coming in, but I'm here to work," Bush told the Sun-Sentinel. "I want to win here."
It's clear he's bothered by his "Hollywood" image, which stems from his USC days and relationship with Kim Kardashian, but points out that's not what he's about."
