"The Washington Redskins on Tuesday signed three of their 2011 practice squad players and one other player to futures contracts.

The team inked quarterback Jonathan Crompton, running back Tristan Davis and safety Travon Bellamy — all of whom had been on the team's practice squad — as well as guard Nevin McCaskill.

By signing the players to the futures contracts, Washington controls their rights through the offseason, and the players will be able to take part in OTAs."
