Oklahoma City Thunder big man Enes Kanter's father was reportedly released from police custody in Turkey on Wednesday.

The Associated Press (h/t ESPN.com) cited the private Dogan news agency, noting university professor Mehmet Kanter was released after five days in custody as long as he consistently reports to a police station.

"He was detained as part of an investigation into alleged links to U.S.-based cleric Fethullah Gulen, according to media reports," the AP wrote.

This comes after Kanter tweeted about the situation Friday.
