The Reds have signed pitcher Armando Galarraga to a minor-league deal, according to CBSSports.com's Jon Heyman.

The 31-year-old pitcher is best known for nearly throwing a perfect game, only to have an incorrect umpire call go against him. Galarraga saw some time with the Astros last season, tossing 24 innings with the major-league club. He had a 6.75 ERA and a 7.43 FIP in five starts with the Astros.
