"Right-handed pitcher Aaron Harang will be the Reds' Opening Day starter for the fifth straight season, the club announced today, March 3.

With the start, Harang will tie a Reds record for consecutive Opening Day starts. Pete Donohue (1923-27) and Mario Soto (1982-86) also started five straight. Soto holds the club record with six overall Opening Day starts.

Cincinnati's 2010 opener is Monday, April 5, at 1:10 p.m. against the St. Louis Cardinals."
