Aroldis Chapman looked, well, human.

Chapman gave up an earned run for the first time all season to take the loss as the Reds fell to the Pittsburgh Pirates 5-4 in 10 innings Thursday night before a crowd of 23,106 at Great American Ball Park.

Chapman gave up back-to-back doubles to Clint Barmes and Michael McKenry, both of whom came in hitting under .190, to start the 10th. Chapman had not allowed a hit over his previous 8 2/3 innings and had only allowed one extra-base hit on the year.

The earned run ended a 24-game and 29-inning streak for Chapman without allowing one.
