Closer Aroldis Chapman will throw Tuesday for Triple-A Louisville. He is tentatively scheduled to throw Wednesday as well.

"There's a chance he'll go to back-to-back," manager Bryan Price said. "As I say, everything is day-to-day. He's got to get through one before the other."

The hope is to have Chapman back for the six-game homestand that begins Friday with the first of a three-game set with Colorado.

Chapman will start Tuesday and come out of the bullpen in his second outing there. He started both of his rehab games with Dayton.

"It's something he'd like to do and we'd like to have him do as well," Price said. "It doesn't mean he'll be in the ninth inning. But he'll get loose between innings."
