Chad Billingsley, who has made just two starts since 2012, will make his major-league return Tuesday for the Phillies against the Atlanta Braves.

Billingsley, who underwent Tommy John surgery in April 2013 and a flexor tendon operation last June, signed with the Phillies in January to a one-year contract worth $1.5 million. The 30-year-old righthander made 190 starts for the Los Angeles Dodgers from 2006 to 2013.
