"The Red Sox continue to build their arsenal of pitchers to compete for rotation spots and pitching depth, signing former Colorado Rockies righthander Aaron Cook yesterday.

Cook, who will be 33 next month, will have his physical in Boston tomorrow and if he passes he will sign a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. If he makes the major league roster, his salary will be $1.55 million."
