Despite a forecast full of rain, the Red Sox and Houston Astros are expected to begin Game 4 of the American League Division Series on time today at Fenway Park.

First pitch is scheduled for 1:08 p.m. ET.

“It’s likely we’ll be in some dampness for the first couple hours,” Sox manager John Farrell said. “Some mist, light rain. The forecast says moderate rain is more 3:30 to 4 p.m.. Everyone wants to get this game underway.”

The Red Sox could use the day off. It would present them a chance to rest David Price, who threw four innings of relief in yesterday's 10-3 victory. And if it does get rained out, Chris Sale is in consideration to start the makeup Game 4 on Tuesday, Farrell said.
