"The Timberwolves recalled guard Jonny Flynn from the D League on Saturday, a move that allows the second-year player to officially practice with the team while he continues to rehab his surgically repaired left hip.

Flynn played 24 1/2 minutes for the Sioux Falls Skyforce on Friday night, getting eight points, nine assists and two steals, and said Saturday that he experienced "training camp legs" during and after his first night of real work since the surgery.

But that rustiness was already distant memory as Flynn sat in the Wolves locker room, full of smiles and noticeably fidgety to get back there permanently.

"Feeling good, feeling good, feeling good," he said. "I had a great time, finally just getting out -- just playing after a long time sitting out. It was a great experience."

So did the Skyforce run the triangle offense?

"It wasn't that!" Flynn cackled. "A little something different."

Pure adrenaline had Flynn at full bore for the game's first 3 minutes."
