Arsenal target Karim Benzema could be sold by Real Madrid the Spanish club's president admitted today.

The French striker has been publicly criticised by Real coach Carlo Ancelotti and is regularly whistled and jeered at by the Bernabeu crowd after an indifferent start the season.

And despite appearing to back the 25 year-old Real Madrid president Florentino Perez admitted today that the club could look to sell him.

"I have faith in all the players in our squad" Perez said on Spanish football chat show Punto Pelota.

"Karim is a great player and we get offers for him all the time every summer.

"All I can say is that the coach is the one who has the authority to do what he believes is right."

It comes after the Evening Standard revealed that Real Madrid will offer Benzema to long-term admirers Arsenal this January for a cut-price £20m with rumours growing that the Spanish giants could bid for Liverpool's Luis Suarez during the transfer window.

Perez also hinted at a move for Monaco's Colombia striker Radamel Falcao next year.

Falcao 27 left Real's city rivals Atletico to join Monaco at the end of last season.

"He (Falcao) won't come in January but in June who knows?" Perez said.
