Ravens' Stallworth looking forward, dealing with past

"Ravens wide receiver Donte' Stallworth, signed as a free agent February 16, after missing last season because he was suspended by the league, said today that "it's daily process" in dealing with his past.

On March 14, 2009, Stallworth struck and killed a pedestrian in Miami Beach, Fla.

"Now that I'm back playing, it's not in the back of my mind," Stallworth said. "It's something I deal with everyday, waking up in the morning and going to sleep at night. It's a tough situation for everyone involved. "

Stallworth added, "If I could go back and take that night over, I would." Stallworth, 29 who last played in 2008 for the Cleveland Browns, pleaded guilty to DUI-vehicular manslaughter in April 2009 and was subsequently suspended by the league indefinitely. On July 10, 2009, Stallworth was released from jail after serving 24 days of a 30-day sentence."
