The Baltimore Ravens announced that they’ve signed TE Gavin Escobar to a contract on Monday and released G Tony Bergstrom.

Baltimore actually brought in Escobar for a workout last week, so he was clearly on their radar as a potential addition.

Escobar, 26, is a former second-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2013. He played out his four-year, $4.21 million rookie contract with the Cowboys and was testing the open market for the first time in his career when he signed a one-year. $885,000 contract that included $80,000 guaranteed with the Chiefs this offseason.

Unfortunately, Kansas City elected to Escobar loose coming out of the preseason.

In 2016, Escobar appeared in all 16 games for the Cowboys and caught four passes for 30 yards receiving and one touchdown.
