"Ravens quarterback Marc Bulger will become a free agent whenever players are allowed to become free agents again. The former Pro Bowler should attract interest from teams who need a steady stop-gap starter under center until a young quarterback is ready to toss aside the clipboard and take the reins.
Sports Illustrated's Don Banks recently talked to Bulger's agent, Tom Condon, about the 33-year-old's future, and Condon indicated that Bulger is still weighing his options for 2011.
"It's thought he could be a starting option this season for teams such as Arizona and possibly Tennessee," Banks wrote. "But Bulger also wants to stay close to the St. Louis area if possible, where his wife works as a doctor. Condon said Bulger still wants to play, and having what amounted to almost a year on the sideline allowed him to get completely healthy for the first time in years.""
