"The Ravens placed linebacker and special teams performer Prescott Burgess on season-ending injured reserve, the team announced today.

Burgess tore an abdominal muscle in Sunday's 30-27 victory over the Arizona Cardinals, according to his agent Tom Kleine. Burgess, who has primarily been playing on special teams, saw action Sunday with the regular defense when middle linebacker Ray Lewis exited the game four four plays in the first quarter with a shoulder stinger."
