Ravens' Mason irked at Crowder's 'old guy' comment

"He's appeared in 209 games and caught 889 passes for almost 11,500 yards and 60 touchdowns during a 14-year career. Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder appeared to dismiss those numbers when earlier this week he referred to Ravens receiver Derrick Mason as "the old guy."

Mason wasn't happy about it.

Friday, Mason directed a salvo at Crowder, telling The Baltimore Sun, "He was still peeing on himself when I was playing football."

Crowder was 14 — and presumably in control of his bodily functions — when Mason, 36, made his NFL debut in 1997 for the Tennessee Oilers. Mason may be the oldest player on the Ravens' roster, but he's by no means playing like it. Starting opposite Anquan Boldin, Mason has caught 26 passes for 357 yards and a touchdown. Last month, he had big games at Pittsburgh and at New England, catching six for 80 yards and eight for 100, respectively."
