Led by Texas Rangers prospect Leury Garcia, Aguilas Cibaenas reached the finals of the Dominican Republic winter league playoffs on Tuesday night with a 5-4 win over Toros del Este.

Garcia, batting leadoff, went 3-for-4 with one RBIs and scored two runs. It was Garcia's sixth multi-hit performance in the last nine games. He is 18-for-37 in that span and is the leading hitter in the playoffs at .474.

Garcia, 21, has been a middle infielder for five years in the Rangers' minor-league system. He appeared in the outfield for four games with Double-A Frisco last season and will work in the outfield during the major-league spring training. He has been playing right field with Aguilas.
