"The acquisition of Cliff Lee gave the Rangers a full five-man rotation after spending a month plugging a vacancy with long reliever Dustin Nippert and rookie Omar Beltre. The pitcher Lee replaced is Rich Harden. The pitcher Tommy Hunter replaced in June is Derek Holland. Neither Lee or Hunter is going anywhere, and Harden and Holland currently have no guaranteed spot on the Rangers' roster."We're going to do whatever is best for the team, and ultimately get the 12 best guys up here," general manager Jon Daniels said.Harden (lower back) and Holland (shoulder, knee) have been on the 15-day disabled list for more than a month and are currently working their way back to health.Harden allowed four runs on eight hits Friday while throwing 67 pitches in 32/3 innings for Triple A Oklahoma City. He is scheduled for at least one more rehab outing before he is considered for reinstatement. The Rangers need to see quality performances as much as quality health."
