"The Rangers have designated right-hander Rich Harden for assignment after claiming right-hander Ryan Tucker off waivers from Florida.

Harden, who went 5-5 for the Rangers, was left off the postseason roster. The Rangers now have 10 days to trade, release or outright Harden to the minor leagues.

Tucker, a right-hander, was 0-5 pitching in Triple A this year. He also made 23 appearances in Class A and one start for the Gulf Coast League Marlins."
