Tony Romo won't run onto a football field again until he takes on the Seahawks in Seattle this weekend, but someone who looked curiously like the Cowboys' quarterback spent Tuesday afternoon milling around Rangers Ballpark.

Rangers closer Joe Nathan, a noted New York Giants fan, donned a full Cowboys uniform -- complete with a helmet, pants, socks, shoulder pads and a Romo jersey -- before the Rangers' series opener with the Cleveland Indians Tuesday night.

"It feels just like I thought it would, absolutely terrible," Nathan told's Anthony Andro before the game.

The uniform was Nathan's payoff on a bet he lost with teammate and Cowboys fans Mike Adams. The two had bet on the outcome of Wednesday's NFL season opener between the Cowboys and Giants and agreed that the loser would have to wear his rivals' colors on the field before a game this week. The Cowboys won, 24-17.
