Randy Moss is upset by lack of wins

"Randy Moss joined the Titans when things were looking up. The future Hall of Fame receiver was supposed to be the key piece to spark a playoff run.

It hasn't exactly worked out that way, however.

The Titans have lost three straight games since Moss came aboard last month, and Moss has just four catches for 49 yards in those games. On Thursday, Moss managed a smile as he explained his frustration.

But his frustration has come more with the losses than his lack of production.

"A lot of that stuff that goes on … is really not in my control. The only thing that really frustrates me is winning and losing. Me getting the ball and we lose the game, I am still frustrated. But me not getting the ball and us winning would make me happy,'' Moss said.

"Us just going out here and trying to find a way to win is what's going to satisfy me and everybody else in this locker room. Me not getting any balls and things going on the last couple of weeks is not getting me down, because I got to get paid, get my check and feed my family each and every week.

"The frustrating thing is the losses. I am used to being in an offense and not having a lot of balls or not catching any balls. But the thing that really hurts is that at the end of the day, if you are winning or you are losing.''

Moss spoke with Nashville reporters for five minutes Thursday, his longest session since joining the team. Most sessions lasted two or three questions.

He said he's looking forward to being reunited on the field with veteran Kerry Collins on Sunday versus the Jaguars. Moss and Collins were teammates in Oakland in 2005 and played one game together before Collins suffered a calf injury Nov. 14 at Miami. He joked about his influence on running back Chris Johnson and how he's encouraged him to start using the cold tub. If not, he'll pay for it down the road.

"Father Time is undefeated,'' he said with a smile.

Moss, who played with the Patriots and Vikings this season before joining the Titans, admitted things haven't been made any easier for him in Tennessee with all the changes at the quarterback position. He's played with three different starting quarterbacks with the Titans — Collins, Vince Young and Rusty Smith."
