"Randy Moss slipped on a Philadelphia 76ers warm-up suit and quietly left the locker room.
Like a number of Titans on a disjointed Sunday, Moss walked the walk but never stopped to talk the talk.
The future Hall of Fame wide receiver had to be wondering what kind of Looney Tunes team he is playing for.
Following Vince Young's childish antics during and after the damaging 19-16 overtime loss to a Redskins team that gave up 59 points to the Eagles six days earlier, Moss departed LP Field still looking for his second reception as a Titan.
He caught one pass last week against the Dolphins. The only passes he caught during the game against the Redskins were warm-up tosses from Young — on the sideline as the quarterback tested his injured thumb.
Moss did pull in an apparent 36-yard touchdown pass from rookie quarterback Rusty Smith, but it was nullified after officials caught Moss pushing off Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall.
"We felt like they were going to take a lot more shots,'' Hall said. "It wasn't like they threw the ball to him 15 times and he had zero catches.''
Moss was the intended target three times. Yet it wasn't Moss we saw acting like a spoiled baby.
Young raised his arms after going three-and-out and hearing boos. It appeared he was encouraging the crowd to boo louder. After the game, Young launched his shoulder pads and jersey into the stands.
And we had been led to believe all along that it was Moss who can be a four-alarm fire."
