Raiders' to-do list starts with Zach Miller

"The players' reps voted to ratify a 10-year collective bargaining agreement Monday afternoon, and now all the dominoes must fall into place quickly for the Raiders and the other 31 scrambling teams.

The Raiders, who will start training camp in Napa on Wednesday, can start signing rookies and undrafted free agents now. They can negotiate with veteran free agents beginning today, but can't officially sign them until Friday.

The Raiders' to-do list, besides the obvious signing of their rookies, is pretty easy to figure:

1. Re-sign tight end Zach Miller. He is an unrestricted free agent as a result of the new rules, so that first- and third-round tender the team gave him before the lockout is out the window.

Al Davis was toying with the idea of giving Miller the franchise tag this spring, so the owner definitely plans on bringing back Miller. Some think Miller will have a big price tag, but there were six tight ends taken in the first four rounds of the draft as teams tried to address their needs then, and I am not sure many teams have Miller targeted as buy-high."
