"The Raiders are getting stomped like grapes up here in wine country. Just in the past week of training camp, Oakland has lost four of its top six players - cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha , tight end Zach Miller , receiver Jacoby Ford and now running back Darren McFadden .

Free agents Asomugha and Miller left town for new teams, Ford broke a bone in his left hand and McFadden will be out at least two weeks with a broken orbital bone. He was injured Wednesday in Napa when he apparently took a helmet to the cheek on what was a great block of linebacker Quentin Groves .

"Darren has a little small fracture of his orbit," coach Hue Jackson said. "So he'll be out a couple weeks. It's interesting because last year he was out a couple of weeks and it was a hamstring."

McFadden did come back from missing two weeks of last season's camp to lead the team with 1,157 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns. And Jackson is confident that McFadden, like Ford, will be back for the season opener on Sept. 12."
