"Another day, another rumor with Tim Tebow?'s name in tow.

As the Broncos continued to prepare Tebow on Friday for his first playoff game, there were reports that backup quarterback Brady Quinn? had taken half of the practice snaps with the Broncos' starters this week. However, according to multiple team sources, including several players, the Broncos used virtually the same rotation with Tebow and Quinn in practice this week that they have used since Tebow was given the starting job in October.

Quinn did not take any snaps with the first-team offense Wednesday, took a select number of snaps with the starters Thursday and ran just two plays with the first-team offense in Friday's workout.

Given that Quinn has not yet appeared in a regular-season game in his two seasons with the Broncos, coach John Fox was asked after Friday's practice if Quinn was ready to play if Tebow was injured or struggled against the Steelers.

"(Quinn's) on the football team, and everybody on the team's ready," Fox said. "Like every week, we expect our starters to play well, and if for some reason an injury happens, it's the next man up."

Asked at what point he would make a change at quarterback if things didn't go well against the Steelers, Fox said, "I don't want to speculate on those things.""
