"Matt Hasselbeck did his best to tamp down praise from fans and media as the Titans sprinted to a 3-1 start.

After a 38-17 loss to the Steelers on Sunday, the veteran quarterback spoke about how such praise can lead to a false sense of security.

"You can feel people patting you on your back, and that's not what helps you win games," he said. "I think typically what helps you win games is hard work and feeling like you've got something to prove."
