"Tampa Bay Rays pitcher David Price has agreed to a deal to sign memorabilia associated with New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter's 3,000th hit.

Jeter hit a home run off Price Saturday at Yankee Stadium for his 3,000th career hit.

Price, who said he is over the stigma of allowing the milestone hit, said he is going to have a little fun with having his name of the wrong side of the entry in the record book, especially when he's getting paid.

"Yeah, I'm not going to sit here and dwell on it," Price said. "It was a hit. It was a home run. It's what happened. I've given up a couple of them this year. I'm getting paid for this one.""
