Goaltender Pekka Rinne said he has put his hip trouble in the past. He doesn't think about it much anymore, especially not after he shuts out the defending Stanley Cup champions.

Rinne was stout and limber Sunday, stopping 29 Blackhawks shots on goal as the Predators won 2-0 at United Center. The shutout was Rinne's first since he underwent hip surgery in October for an infection. He returned to Nashville's lineup in early March and had been pulled twice on this road trip.

"I thought we played really well tonight, and obviously personally, I struggled the last couple of games on this road trip," a smiling Rinne said. "It has been tough for me. For sure, it feels good after tonight's win."
