"Free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens probably won't sign with a team until late in the preseason, his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said Monday.

Owens tore his anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in the spring, but he is on schedule with his rehab, according to Rosenhaus.

Rosenhaus previously said Owens could be ready physically by the start of training camp.

"It's something we might take our time with, later in the preseason," Rosenhaus said on NFL Network."
